Business process outsourcing
Finance and Accounting Analyst
About the role
This role sits inside Corpshore Australia's finance and accounting outsourcing delivery team, a division of Corpshore Solutions Corporation. You will work onsite at the Sydney delivery floor, in a pod that supports two or three client accounts at a time across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and month-end reporting.
This is genuine client-facing delivery work, not internal corporate finance for Corpshore itself. You report to a delivery manager and work to a defined SLA for each client account, so your day is structured around what that client's finance team needs closed, reconciled or chased by a fixed deadline, not around Corpshore's own books.
What you will do
You will process supplier invoices directly in the client's own accounting platform (Xero, MYOB, NetSuite or SAP depending on the account), matching purchase orders and resolving pricing or quantity discrepancies before release rather than pushing them through. You will run collections against agreed scripts for overdue receivables, perform daily cash and monthly ledger reconciliations, and prepare month-end journals with variance commentary the client's finance manager can actually act on, not a raw number dump. You will handle client financial data in line with Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) obligations for the account you are on, escalate anomalies to your delivery manager rather than force a reconciliation to balance, and support audit or year-end requests with documentation that holds up to scrutiny. Extended hours are expected in the final days of each month to hit client close deadlines.
What you bring
A diploma or degree in accounting, finance or commerce, with two to four years' experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or general ledger work. Working knowledge of at least one major accounting platform (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, NetSuite or SAP). Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and reconciliation formulas. High attention to detail under a monthly close deadline, and business-level written and spoken English.
Nice to have
Progress toward CPA or CA, prior experience in a BPO or shared-services environment rather than in-house finance, exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency ledgers, and familiarity with reconciliation or workflow tools such as BlackLine or Dext.
What we offer
The compulsory superannuation guarantee, currently 11.5 per cent and rising to 12 per cent, on top of base salary. Structured onboarding into each new client account you are rotated onto. A defined path toward senior analyst and team lead roles, and study support toward CPA or CA. You will work across more than one client industry rather than a single ledger for years on end.
